Highlights:
・Enjoy a personal brewery tour led by the owner of Watanabe Sahei Shoten, a sake brewery with over 180 years of history!
Since its founding in 1842, Watanabe Sahei Shoten has continued to brew sake using pristine spring water from the foothills of Nikko and the cold winter air descending from the Nikko mountain range.
The tour is filled with fascinating stories about sake and insights into the brewing process that can only be heard here. Guests will also receive a complimentary glass of seasonal sake.
Discover how best to enjoy sake in every season—from hatsu-shibori, the first freshly pressed sake of winter, to hiyaoroshi, a mellow autumn sake—and learn the serving style that brings out the character of each variety.
