①女夫渕駐車場から八丁の湯まで（所要時間：約1時間30分）
＊最寄りの「女夫渕（めおとぶち）駐車場」から宿まで歩くハイキングコースです。
標高1,300mの八丁の湯は日光国立公園内にあるため、自然保護の観点から自家用車等での乗り入れができません。宿までは最寄りの「女夫渕（めおとぶち）駐車場」から無料送迎バス（所要時間約30分）をご用意しておりますが、足に自信のある方なら、宿まで四季折々の景色と森林浴を楽しみながら歩いてお越しいただくのもおすすめです。
「女夫渕駐車場」から宿までは比較的平坦な初心者でも安心の約90分のハイキングコースです。道の途中には『湧き出る源泉「三丁の湯」』や『冬には10ｍを超える氷瀑「Green Ice Fall」は実はこんな水量だった・・・』などの見どころもあります。

1. From Meotobuchi Parking Lot to Hatcho-no-yu
Duration: Approx. 1 hour 30 minutes
This hiking trail leads from the nearest parking area, Meotobuchi Parking Lot, directly to the inn. Located at an altitude of 1,300m within Nikko National Park, Hatcho-no-yu cannot be accessed by private vehicles to protect the natural environment.
While a free shuttle bus (approx. 30 minutes) is available from the parking lot, we highly recommend the walk for those who enjoy being active. It is a wonderful way to experience the seasonal scenery and the refreshing effects of “forest bathing” on your way to the inn.
The trail is relatively flat and safe even for beginners. Along the way, you’ll find fascinating sights such as the “Sancho-no-yu” natural hot spring source and the summer view of the “Green Ice Fall”—revealing the massive volume of water that transforms into a 10-meter-high wall of ice in winter.
Luggage Service: We can transport any heavy luggage not needed for your trek on the shuttle bus.
Important:The shuttle bus departs shortly after 12:00 p.m., so please finish packing by then.
Use of the shuttle bus requires advance reservation.
②八丁の湯から鬼怒沼湿原まで（所要時間：約2時間30分）
＊八丁の湯から標高2,020ｍの鬼怒沼湿原まで歩く本格コースです。
八丁の湯から鬼怒沼湿原は往復で6～７時間ぐらいの予定がおすすめです。それぐらいだと途中の休憩や鬼怒沼の散策も楽しむことができます。
鬼怒沼湿原は高原湿原では日本一とされる標高2,020ｍに位置する天空の景勝地です。湿原到着前の原生林は自然に対する畏敬の念を感じる別世界。途中、長い急坂もあり、高低差約600ｍ、片道約６キロと少々厳しいですが、その爽快さと絶景にきっとご満足いただけると思います。

2. From Hatcho-no-yu to Kinunuma Marshland
Duration: Approx. 2 hours 30 minutes (one way)
This is an authentic trekking route leading from the inn to the Kinunuma Marshland at an altitude of 2,020m.
We recommend setting aside 6 to 7 hours for a round trip. This pace allows plenty of time for breaks and a leisurely exploration of the marshland. Kinunuma is a breathtaking “scenic spot in the sky,” recognized as the highest highland marsh in Japan.
Before reaching the marsh, you will pass through a primeval forest so pristine it inspires a sense of awe. While the trail includes long, steep sections with an elevation gain of 600m over a 6km path (one way), the exhilarating atmosphere and stunning panoramic views are truly rewarding.
